The Total Body Scan® is a health check-up with imaging techniques offered in four different variations/packages. These thorough examinations of the whole body can help to rule out tumour diseases, heart attacks, and strokes. At the same time, they provide comprehensive insight into your current state of health in just one day.
The Total Body Scan®
The Total Body Scan® is a health check-up of the whole body and is offered in four different variations/packages. All packages consist of different examination options – you can decide the extent of your preventive measures according to your needs.
Please plan 1.5 to 5 hours for all examinations depending on the package you chose. All examinations take place under one roof in one day. Our independent cooperating physicians devote plenty of time to take a detailed medical history and discuss with you your current health status and any health complaints. Our multilingual and friendly staff will accompany you during the examination.
Independent medical specialists prepare the findings. The results of the examination will be discussed with you in detail during the consultation. You will get the results of all examinations after evaluation and validation as a written and digital report.

The best value top quality screening The same examination contents as the other Total Body Scan® packages. Can be performed exclusively at our partner institute Millennium Diagnostik in 1200 Vienna. Organisation of your appointment via Prescan. On-site at Millennium Diagnostik in Vienna: support from the staff with a focus on saving time and the usual quality of service. Your digital findings and images are available for you to download from the radiology online portal with a password.

3 Tesla-MRI: Skull/brain, cervical spine, upper abdomen, lower abdomen With the help of an MRI, changes like tumours, cerebral infarction, bleedings, and inflammation can be detected early on. We examine your cervical spine and look for conditions like herniated disc, trauma, constrictions, wear and tear, and cervical spine syndrome. We also thoroughly check your upper and lower abdomen.

CT (Low Low Dose): Thorax/lungs and Calcium Score/heart With a CT of the thorax, our physicians can diagnose chronic lung disease (COPD), pneumonia, a lung tumour, or a blocked blood vessel in the direction of the lungs (pulmonary embolism). If indicated, a cardiac CT (calcium scoring) is performed to examine possible calcifications of the coronary vessels. This is a low low dose procedure; the examination is low in radiation.

Ultrasound: Carotid artery, thyroid We check your carotid artery and thyroid thoroughly using ultrasound. The ultrasound waves reflected by the tissue make it possible to visualise the tissue structure and detect any changes.

Cardio Program Plus During the cardiological examination, we check your heart function for any abnormalities. This is done with the help of echocardiography (heart ultrasound), an electrocardiogram (ECG), as well as ergometry (exercise ECG).
