Regular check-ups play a decisive role, especially when it comes to the early detection of cervical and breast cancer. The sooner cancer or its preliminary stages is detected, the better the treatment options.<\/p>\n<p>Cervical cancer is caused by tissue changes in the cervix. A gynaecological screening can detect those changes so that they can be removed before they might develop into cervical cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Uterine tumours can occur as early as the age of 20. When women turn 40, the likelihood of developing cervical cancer increases. Cancer can go unnoticed for a long time; it usually doesn\u2019t cause any noticeable symptoms or discomfort in the beginning.
