They are often caused by deposits in the vessels and high blood pressure. Both do not cause any complaints for a long time but can eventually lead to a heart attack or stroke when left untreated to advance further. In Austria, one-third of all deaths are the result of cardiovascular diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Using an ECG (electrocardiogram), an exercise ECG and echocardiography (heart ultrasound), we examine heart valves, heart chambers, and analyse the pumping ability of your heart as well as the blood flow. We can detect \u2013 among other heart diseases \u2013 conditions like cardiac arrhythmias, heart valve defects, and heart muscle inflammation.<\/p>\n<p>The cardiological examination is an important part of our Total Body Scan\u00ae Plus screening program, but can also be booked separately if you have any complaints.
