During an MRI, the device takes detailed images of the foot, on which the structure can be seen exactly. These images can be used to determine where the pain in the foot is coming from.<\/p>\n<p>MRI means magnetic resonance imaging. An MRI scan allows physicians to take pictures of the inside of your body. The MRI scanner receives signals from the body via a large magnet and radio waves.
